Ash emissions from Aso volcano from satellite (image: Sentinel 2)

Aso (central Kyushu, Japan): The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported that explosive activity from the active crater with near-constant grey-white plumes rose 3,280 ft (1,100 m) above the summit crater and drifted northeast.
The seismic station records low internal tremor. The number of volcano-tectonic earthquakes continues at high levels.
Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions reached to a 1200 tonnes/day.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows could affect an area of about 1 km distance from the crater.

Klyuchevskoy (Kamchatka): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 22000 ft (6700 m) altitude or flight level 220 and is moving at 30 kts in SE direction.  The full report is as follows: VA EMISSIONS CONTINUING OBS VA DTG:20/0520Z to 22000 ft (6700 m)

Lava flow from Fuego volcano towards Barrancas Cenizas direction (image: Sentinel 2)

Fuego (Guatemala): INSIVUMEH recorded weak to moderate strombolian-type explosions at regular intervals of 6 to 10 per hour that generated a grey ash plume which reached approx. 14,108 ft-15,420 ft (4,300 m-4,700 m) altitude. The plumes drifted towards the southwest direction.
Ashfall was reported in several areas downwind including Santa Sofía (12 km SW), Morelia (9 km SW), Panimaché I and II (8 km SW).
Strombolian activity continues from the summit crater with ejecta thrown at an approximate height of 100 and 200 meters.
Lava flow continues to be active towards Barrancas Cenizas direction, currently about 320 m long.

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 20000 ft (6100 m) altitude or flight level 200 .
The full report is as follows: NEW VA EMS. to 20000 ft (6100 m)

Sangay (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 20000 ft (6100 m) altitude or flight level 200 .
The full report is as follows: ONGOING VA EMS. to 20000 ft (6100 m)

Reventador (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 16000 ft (4900 m) altitude or flight level 160 .
The full report is as follows: NEW VA EMS. to 16000 ft (4900 m)

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 30000 ft (9100 m) altitude or flight level 300 and is moving at 10 kts in SE direction.
The full report is as follows: UNABLE TO DETECT to 30000 ft (9100 m)

Eruption of Etna's New SE crater this morning (image: INGV webcam)

Etna (Sicily, Italy): A brief, but intense episode of explosive activity took place at Etna's SE crater this morning. Starting in the early morning hours, from around 07:30 local time, the New Southeast Crater began to produce strombolian-type explosions along with a sharp increase in volcanic tremor.
Activity rapidly increased in intensity, producing a weak lava fountain and an ash column that rose approx. 1 km. Incandescent lava covered most of the New SE crater, but no lava flow was produced.
