Chuck's photo Corner for the end of Summer 2020 💦👀💏😷✌👴👽

Photo's by CC from the past few weeks Sept. 2020

Since I was up on the roof I thought I should take a few pics from there.  This first pic shows the barn, my man cave, full of stuff from my repo worker days, that chippy the red squirrel loves to chew.  The trees to the right of the barn are butternuts.

The back yard

I enjoy sunsets from out back of the barn like this one.

I often see cloud banks build over the St. Lawrence R. like this one.

The back back yard. It's hard to see in the pic but this is a fox trail, (or coyote) a great setting for all kinds of critters, n birds.

I try to keep a mowed path to the back fence big enough for the van to haul yard waste out back.  This is what it looks like coming to the back back yard towards the street.

I took a road trip this week, and the remainder of these pics are from that.  I worked for over a month on a house just out of this pic on the left. The road narrows to a one lane bridge just ahead.

So at this point I'm 10 to 15 min. from getting back home, and the showers ahead look like they are right over Cardinal.
This is the left view of the above pic.

Getting closer to home now within 10km.  At this point I saw the most amazing lightning flash.  It went horizontally through this cloud with multiple lines as well as multiple lines vertically hitting the ground.  It filled this entire view and more, a second before I got the pic. snapped.

Now I'm two min. from the house, still not a drop of rain on the car, I have just crossed the 401 the major hwy. from Montreal to Toronto that loosely follows the St. Lawrence.

This rainbow was a delight to watch grow, at this point I'm less than a minute from home.  I couldn't take that last pic where it was a full rainbow as I was turning into the driveway.  By the time I got to a point to take a pic the storm had moved on.

Recommend this post, and post some of yours, Cheers
