Spring has arrived, with wind and rain, Sun and warm soils. Life and death renews my world.
Coming home from the Laurentiens two days after the big storm
About 100yds from my start point
one cable broke the tree held up by the phone line
a tree cleared off the small bridge by local folk about 500 yds further on
One of the houses at the lake less than a mile down the rd.
one of two side by side around the lake the house to the left looked just the same
arriving in town about 5 miles down the road
A pic out my office window on my first day home.
trying to leave a small job site
just a couple of days ago
and here is the back side
getting started in the main garden
from the front porch
from the same spot outside my kitchen door
the north side of things
iris
a couple of days later and the spirea are really opening up
and the honeysuckle begins to drop
Korean honeysuckle, an invasive species here.
rhubarb the leaves are large
a local fungus growing at the base of a Butternut
looking out the living room window.
