Early in the week week we had a fairly big snowfall, about 6" or so. I spent 2.5 hrs over 2 days to get the driveway shoveled. This old body can't shovel shit like it used to, lol
Since then temps have soared and now it's colder again. Today there is no snow on the lawn in Cardinal.
We enjoyed a festive meal with family yesterday to celebrate a new solar year or end the last year of Earth's travels around our Sun. Just as people for thousands of years have done.
from my door camera this morning Dec. 22 2025
a sunset from last week
drying laundry
visual entertainment from the dining room window while having lunch
7 of these guys hung around all day
despite a day of rain snow remains on the roof here in the north
water in the stream picked up a lot of debris as it swole up after the warm day of rain
Rhachelle's croton decided to flower after many years growing in the dining room.
Enjoy the Year
Cheers https://chuckincardinal.blogspot.com/
