Chuck's photo corner to Aug. 9th 2026

It's been a hot muggy couple of weeks. Way more rain than we usually get this time of summer. I even had to use the ac a few nights. Mainly to dry out the air in the bedroom, but a little cooler was nice as well. Still on average it's been a cooler summer especially some nights. Lawn cutting has been quite the chore with all the rain. Even some of the veggy garden is complaining about too much water.

this colour of bee balm was very popular with the bees

the thistle was a bee favorite as well

crossing the Ottawa river on the ferry, I spotted this boat one of the largest I have seen on the Ottawa.
