Chuck's photo corner to July 6, 2025

It's been a wonderful summer's week. Trying to get the place ready for next Saturday's Summer social. Drying herbs, making jam to give away. Rachelle is making meatballs from buffalo.

The Life of one often means the death of another.

Black raspberries, (one cup) Rachelle has collected 4 times as many wild strawberries

One often has to give a little blood to pick the berries of these spiney guys.

stinging nettle, we use it for herbal remedies, but painful if you touch it before prepared

The grass has grown tall and the seed heads full

The wild concord grapes are coming along. (a great antioxidant)

This guy has grown up wild in the front garden.

not sure what this is

these wild peas has come back for years, the other colours all died off.

I call these orange lilies ditch lillies as they enjoy the ditches in the wild.
